Cost can vary greatly and depends on many factors. A “facelift” could include new countertops, painting existing cabinets, changing out plumbing & electrical fixtures, while a “full remodel” would be far more extensive and could include structural elements such as moving walls and raising ceilings. Every home is different as is the size of the kitchen and/or bathroom. A full remodel of a galley kitchen in a 1,200 sq ft home would be different than one in a 3,200 sq ft home. A powder bath would be less costly than a master bath with a shower separate from the tub. There is no one size fits all. Our work is tailored to your very specific home and project needs and wants.

Depending upon the scope of work, the project could be a few weeks up to many months. We communicate at our first meeting how long we expect the project to take. At contract, we provide you with a construction schedule so that you know what is happening week to week.

Working with our design+build studio is an ideal start! We draft the plans in-house, plan, project manage and have our own contractors. Contractors that we have partnered with for many years. They know how we work and what we expect. There are no surprises, no confusion. There are no extra charges. We understand that most projects are budget-oriented. Although initially our potential clients don’t know what their project will cost, they typically know how much they want to spend. For our budget-minded clients, we offer up ideas on how to achieve their vision but save money. Some ways include reducing the scope, reusing fixtures, selecting fixtures to get the look they want, but are at a better price point. Are you a DIYer? We’ve had some clients paint the walls, ceiling and trim to save.

Absolutely! In the case of a kitchen remodel, we recommend our client sets up a temporary kitchen in another room. Do you have a laundry room with a sink? This could stand in for a kitchen sink. Do you have a large buffet in the dining room that could serve as a countertop? You could order a hot plate and a small countertop oven. All these things make for much happier clients during construction.
