Crown Heights

This kitchen remodel in one of Oklahoma City’s Historic Preservation Districts was designed for a serious baker who needed a serious kitchen. The original layout lacked adequate lighting, usable storage, and an efficient flow — three problems we solved from the ground up.

The centerpiece is a custom kitchen island built as a dedicated baking center, featuring a pop-up mixer lift, deep drawers for storing flour and sugar containers, and a pull-out trash system. Open shelving showcases the owner's swoon-worthy cookbook collection, keeping favorite recipes within easy reach.

Large-scale backsplash tile makes cleanup simple, while LED can lighting ensures the kitchen is bright and functional — even during late-night bread-baking sessions.
