After living in this historic home for a decade, this busy family of five was ready to make it their own. We touched every room in the house, but the kitchen was their #1 sticking point. As with most homes built in the 1910s and 1920s, the kitchen was tiny, marked by several small, connected rooms and not enough electrical outlets or lighting.
Our redesign turned the old back door into a new mudroom entrance with stained cabinets and a fun toile wallpaper. The new back entrance was expanded with full-view French doors into a light, bright kitchen worthy of this gorgeous home. Hand-painted Spanish tile outfitted the backsplash, and opening the kitchen to the den with a new entertainment center made this a lovely space to gather.
We reconfigured all three bathrooms, divided a large bedroom, and refinished all of the original wood floors. The owners and their pups couldn't be happier!
